1986 Landrover. Our client’s brief was to bring back a bit of gloss on the old girl. Single-layer paint with no clear coat over from new always fades due to the UV getting straight at the pigment. Our client has a bit of family history with this Landrover and didn’t want to make it a showpiece as it was an ex-farm wagon. We repainted the black mirrors, front grille and headlight surround, front flares, rear taillight surrounds, tow bar and frame, areas around the top rear tray hooks and under the front windscreen, and rims. A cut and polish and wax and pencil touch up the stone chips were completed without going over the top to still retain the original look of this “Landy”
